Never Again
A documentary on the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre, directed by Trent Frank.
Never Again sets the massacre inside the longer American pattern of white mobs attacking Black communities, and follows what came after: Black leadership, resistance, and the slow, contested work of public remembrance.
Made in harmony with the Coalition, the film is also a record of the two successive coalitions — the 2006 centennial group and the one working today — that pushed Atlanta to look at what it had done and then declined to discuss for most of a century.
